Manus Ward Ph.D. Dr Ward’s career has spanned academic and biotechnology research, research funding (Institutional, National, and European), and research policy. In recent years, he has focused on building strategic research partnerships, the translation of research into commercial products, research policy & strategy, and university administration. In academia and industry, he built and mentored innovative teams that delivered high-quality projects that covered the continuum from basic to pre-clinical research. In Science Foundation Ireland and at KAUST, his teams developed and implemented innovative funding programs and built multiple strategic partnerships. His experiences have made him a resilient and experienced leader with excellent communication skills. He has a proven track record in delivering high quality projects on time and under budget. Furthermore, his strong networking capabilities enable him to continue to build an extensive set of contacts in the academic, industry, and policy sectors.
