Through my carrier, I have gained diversified and pragmatic expertise in aerobic and anaerobic treatment processes, municipal and industrial wastewater treatment, sludge treatment and handling, potable water treatment plants and also in operation of all types of water & wastewater treatment plants. This experience includes also the generation of biogas and cogeneration systems in anaerobic treatment plants. I carried out and supervised engineering works covering preparation of drawings and detailed documentations such as P&IDs, layouts, piping layouts, GA drawings, civil outlines, fabrication drawings, detailed design calculations, detailed process control philosophy & O&M manuals. I also provide technical support to project teams and clients all along the lifecycle of projects including training programs aiming at improving the qualifications and skills of involved staff. Currently, I am involved in the operation and process monitoring (QA/QC) of JECO-MIAHONA B.O.T projects all over the kingdom. Earlier, I was involved as main auditor in a large-scale consultancy project to audit all non-private Municipal STPs in Saudi Arabia (more than 100 STPs) under the authority of Ministry of Water and National Water Company “NWC”. The STPs assessment includes: i) Process and Design, ii) Operation and Maintenance, iii) Laboratory and iv) Structural Integrity. My contribution to the project covers the first three components. Finally, my overseas experience covers the Middle East, Africa and Europe. Expert in water and wastewater treatment fields. High capabilities of analysing and exploring the week points related to plant operation and maintenance, set a plan of remediation, and follow up the implementation in the light of the needs and objectives. In addition to the strong technical background, I have gained communication skills with different cultures resulted from the overseas assignments in Europe, Asia, and Africa. Technical skills comprise, process design, testing and commissioning, mechanical equipment selection and operation and maintenance of treatment plants and networks in addition to the laboratory experience. Managerial skills involve creating strategies, implementation and follow up, modelling policies and procedures and monitoring the progress with high flexibility of mitigation according to the new outcomes. Part of the main tasks is to set a budget for operation and maintenance (treatment plants and network) against universal benchmarks or most common practiced values.
