A Chartered Chemical Engineer with over 18 years’ experience as a Principal Process Engineer, Project Director, Technical Director, and Team Leader. Experienced in development of municipal water infrastructure including SWRO desalination. Has been involved in the design of water infrastructure in the Asia Pacific and the Middle East regions in countries including New Zealand, Australia, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Papua New Guinea (PNG) and Indonesia. Experience in all phases of the project lifecycle including strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, FEED development, preliminary and detailed design development, commissioning, and O&M support. Has developed valuable skills in plant optimisation with the objective of improving water quality and reducing energy and chemical consumption. Extensive experience in leading technical advisory teams on Public Private Partnership projects for a wide range of project developer clients. Strong knowledge of Water Purchase Agreements (WPA) and SWRO functional specifications. Experience in leading consultancy services for multi-utility developments including integration of water, renewable energy, and district cooling.
